7 Easy to Use Digital Tools to Save Hours a Day (2024)

Dec 15, 2023

If you're someone who values efficiency and wants to streamline your online business or corporate intrapreneur journey, then this post is for you. By implementing digital tools and systems, you can save a significant amount of time and optimize your daily operations.

Hello, whether you're a busy leader, founder, or intrapreneur, this post is tailored to your needs. If you've been searching for the "best tools for data analysis," "user-friendly digital tools for online businesses," "methods to automate repetitive tasks," "benefits of automating repetitive tasks," or "easy systems for my online business," you've come to the right place.

Drawing from my personal experience and available free resources, I aim to provide valuable insights for you and your online endeavours.

Why is Automating Repetitive Tasks Important?

The simple answer is that it allows you to save time and allocate it towards more strategic activities that can bring value to your business.

How to Automate Repetitive Tasks

There are various approaches to automating repetitive tasks, and here's how I approached to it:

Before embarking on my coaching and consulting journey, I identified the repetitive tasks that consumed a significant amount of my time. Then, I devised a plan to tackle these challenges by leveraging digital solutions as part of my Phase 1 Strategy.

🟦 Here's how I established systems using digital tools, which can also benefit you, especially if you have a small team or no team at all:

βœ… 1. Streamlining meeting scheduling to eliminate back-and-forth emails:

βœ”οΈ Utilizing the Calendly website to book meetings

βœ… 2. Creating branded eBooks in under 20 minutes:

βœ”οΈ Accessing HubSpot's free eBook templates

βœ… 3. Crafting visually appealing pitch presentations and LinkedIn content:

βœ”οΈ Utilizing the Canva website

βœ… 4. Enabling data-driven decision-making to prioritize customer search needs during content creation and SEO:

βœ”οΈ Leveraging the Answerthepublic website

βœ”οΈ Utilizing the Google Trends website

βœ”οΈ Leveraging the Google Alerts website

βœ…5. Streamlining the process of creating training and micro-learning videos:

βœ”οΈ For longer videos, WeVideo is a great option.

βœ”οΈ When it comes to shorter videos, I used InVideo and Canva .

βœ…6. Developing a centralized hub for your online business

βœ”οΈThe centralised hub I refer to includes website, blog, online digital product shop, newsletter, and online training by utilizing the power of no-code technology. Please note that not all functions have been activated at the time of writing this.

βœ”οΈ I used Kajabi no-code platform to build an MVP digital platform. According to my business priorities I found it as a suitable platform for designing and creating an online business hub. One thing to be mindful of here is that it requires higher annual costs compared to the other alternatives I`ve found in the market. At the same time, it offers many easy-to-use tools under one umbrella which gives you flexibility to have all in one place. For example; a blog, online shop, e-courses, digital products, digital downloadable, CRM and newsletter.

βœ…7. Analysing data and taking action based on valuable insights:

βœ”οΈ Google Analytics is an excellent tool for this purpose.

βœ”οΈ I find that Website Grader by HubSpot is particularly useful for evaluating design and SEO aspects.

βœ”οΈ To assess website performance on both mobile and desktop, I`d recommend Google Page Speed Insights.

Please keep in mind that there are additional tools available depending on the specific context. However, the ones mentioned above are the key ones I personally utilize.

Depending on your business type and priorities, outsourcing these tasks entirely may also be a viable option. In my case, I have chosen to build a system first (referred to as MVP - Minimum Viable Product) and conduct testing, doing adjustments before making further decisions and time investments.

I hope this information empowers you and provides you with valuable ideas, especially if you have a small team or no team at all.

Please note that as of the date of writing this (15.12.2023), I have no affiliation with any of the mentioned platforms or tools. These recommendations are solely based on my personal experiences and choices.

Update text added in 2024: I became a Kajabi expert in 2024.  So, please consider this information for posts I`ve written in 2024. Although this piece was originally posted in 2023 before I became a Kajabi expert, I am adding this update for transparency reasons.
