Everyone Can Create Content. Here is How to Start (2025)

Everyone can start creating digital content for their brand.

The challenge is:

You might not know where to start.
 
I struggled with this when I started my e-platform you are visiting right now. ❌
Here are the simple questions that helped in my consultant/ founder journey: ✅
 
Large question: What is my why? ✅
(Helping people grow their careers and digital businesses)
 
Medium question: How can I approach sharing online with a different perspective and start simple? ✅
(I share not only successes but also what failed, so the learnings can help someone save valuable time)
 
Smaller questions: ✅
1.    Where is most of my potential audience and what are their problems? 
2.    What are the things I am already doing or learning which can be valuable for others, too?
3.    What top three topics are easy, yet impactful to start?
4.    What does data say about 1 and 2? 
 
To encourage you to start: ✅

- On LinkedIn, when I first started posting consistently, I had posts that had only 2-3 reactions. In the beginning some learning materials on my digital platform that had only 20-30 views. By time some content (short videos) also reached 30K+ views with no paid media advertising. Views are not my focus, but conversions, plus the short-term and long-term impact are.
 
- Also, there were times when some people, who have never engaged with what I share online, contacted me for potential projects or business collaborations. 
 
Some trials will fail and it’s OK. Focus on the longer journey and the bigger picture. Keep on going. It/you will get better over time.
 
These questions, plus a 3-pillar digital content strategy helped me increase the LinkedIn ratings and move to between Top 4-6% in the consulting business category.
 
Every journey is unique, and I hope this, particularly reading about the not so amazing numbers in the first month(s), gives you hope and encouragement to start your content strategy and implementation journey. Good luck.
 
Update added in May 2025: After I posted this and continued with the content strategy actions, here is what happened in a few months:
 
- I suddenly started getting several invitations to become a speaker.
-  A few new clients contacted me via LinkedIn mail proactively for coaching or digital strategy projects. 
- On the services page on LinkedIn, the requests people sent increased significantly (PS: Later I experienced that this didn`t really bring new clients - in my case at least - as most of them were not real project or client requests. Now I rarely check that section.) 
  - My LinkedIn profile stats jumped and my score became within the TOP 2% in the  "Business Consulting and Services" category. Yeeey! :) However when I pause posting from time to time, I observe that this SSI Index score decreases. For example, I haven`t been active on LinkedIn in almost whole April 2025 and the SSI index score decreased drastically (Within %17 currently). So, please remember that consistency matters a lot, although it is not the only factor.
