Conversion Metrics vs. Vanity Metrics for Digital Strategy- 2024

After 3 days of launching my website, I got:
 

. 30 million views
. 3 million online sales

❌Said, no new brand. Including mine.

Don't focus on views when you launch your online business or product.

✅Instead, focus on:

- How many unique, returning visitors you have
- How are people finding your website (findability). This post can help, if you are a beginner.
- How is your online customer experience (user experience). This post can help.
- How are they engaging? Are they downloading something, booking, or buying? (engagement and conversion)

✅Conversion metrics > Vanity metrics

I am in this journey now as a founder. Metrics are sometimes down and sometimes better. Having been both on the corporate and marketing agency sides, this is no surprise and is expected. It takes time, a long & short-term strategy. Meanwhile, I ask a question: “What are the patterns in what works and why?”
